Difficult one to answer that until your offer is accepted you don't fully know what the club is prepared to sell them for,  but undoubtedly his price was driven up by him recently renewing his contract and interest from other clubs, I think he was valued at about 9mill before he signed his new contract.

With the prices being paid by the likes of Real and Man City its going to push up the prices of any players that clubs don't particularly want to lose.

That's like Atletico, demanding 50 mill for Aguero cuz they know Man U now have more money after the Ronaldo deal, it gets silly after a certain point.

johnson is a really good player and is english so he gains some browny points...17mil is a bit too much.. but then again if he scores some of those goals like that spectacular dipping one then i wont mind!
