Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill says he will not be selling Ashley Young this summer whatever sum he is offered for the England winger.
Speculation about Young's future at Villa Park surfaced when O'Neill signed Stewart Downing from Middlesbrough earlier this month.
But despite being linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, Young won't be going anywhere before the transfer window closes at the end of next month, according to O'Neill.
"There's been no thought about selling him," insisted the former Celtic boss.
"If somebody came in with £50million, I wouldn't do it. It would be up to the chairman, but the last time I spoke to Randy Lerner he wasn't entertaining anything, at any price.
"There are loads of teams who want him, but he's at the right club. I couldn't be more strong on this. He isn't going anywhere."
