Seeing as Robinho is an attacking player he doesn't do much attacking does he. Looks like he is scared to get in the box.

And does Fabiano know how to pass a ball?

Alves scores a free-kick, good goal that too.

      Game over now IMO.

Fabiano missed a sitter to put it behind all doubt.

Alves is playing like a man on a mission and he has only been on a few minutes!

Luis Fabiano is a fantastic goal scorer, he usually doesnt miss this kind of chances but he wasnt on his best today.

Well done to South Africa, I think they must be pride of playing so well and putting so much effort against a much better team, our goal only came from a free kick and they even required Julio Cesar (best keeper in the world) to make a fantastic save.

Obviously Im happy cause Brazil won but I feel a bit sorry for Joel Santana, he was so close of making history!

And I think Fabio Aurelio must be crying right now at home, Kleber and Andre Santos picked ahead of him is a JOKE, Aurelio is 50 times better than both of them... Daniel Alves coming on as a substitute for the left back says it all. I think I prefer Alves there, playing out of position, than our other options in the squad, even tough Andre Santos wasnt that bad (Kleber was).

can't belive USA are in the final. im still shocked. and im also shocked that brazil only won 1-0. the final Brazil vs USA should on paper be very one sided. but then again games arent played on paper. Id say 2-0 to Brazil with goals from Kaka and Fabiano.

Thanks mate. I also think the boys did okay - it would've been nice if they had scored...but that's the nature of the game.

I can see that the players are starting to gel - so I hope we'll stick to the same core of players and technical team until the World Cup next year.

We need to have a lethal striker by that time.

SPAIN vs RSA - The Sequel coming up on Sunday. Can't wait.

Why didn't you have Benni McCarthy playing? Surely he would have bought some more quality up front, the same way Pienaar had an impact on your midfield and your general play?

Yep, got the feel of a nothing game though!

Didn't he have an argument with the coach and hasn't played for South Africa ina while?

And that's exactly what it is. Torres had a decent chance before but he was tackled just as he was about to pull the trigger.

Another half decent game for Riera again
