Better Real Madrid than Chelsea who of coarse would be linked to him since the new manager is very close with Kaka.

Breaking News: Kaka, His Agent & Milan Have Agreed To World Record-Breaking Real Madrid Transfer - Sid Lowe
The Madrid-based British journalist believes that a deal is in place for Kaka to join Real Madrid from Milan...
      3 Jun 2009 13:41:54
Madrid-based British journalist Sid Lowe has claimed that a deal is already in place which will see Kaka join Real Madrid from Milan for a world record-breaking fee this summer.

The Brazil international, it is claimed, could join Los Blancos for a staggering €65 million (£56m), smashing the previous world record of €55m (£47.3m) held since 2001 when Zinedine Zidane moved from Juventus to the Santiago Bernabeu.

"The deal is in place,"Lowe told Sky Sports News.

"There's an agreement between Real Madrid and AC Milan and of course between Real Madrid and the player, and perhaps just as importantly, Real Madrid and the father and agent, Bosco Leite, who was one of the stumbling blocks yesterday, because there was a bit of an argument over the size of his commission.

"What won't happen yet at least is for it to be formally announced. AC Milan and Real Madrid have discussed this; they want it to be discussed at the back end of this week or early next week.

"It appears the figures in the region of €64-65 million, although there are sources from the other side of the negotiations, with Chelsea trying to get involved, that the fee could actually be nine or ten million Euros higher than that.

Asked how Florentino Perez might have progressed so well with the negotiations, Lowe repled, "In the first instance he has a very good relationship with Adriano Galliani.

"They met at at the offices of Florentino's company, ACS, in Madrid, and went through negotiations.

"During his last time at Real Madrid he developed relationships with all the biggest clubs across Europe.

"The other factor is that he's running a club that players still want to go to, despite the fact Real Madrid have been slightly chaotic over the last five or six years."

Kaka recently released a statement affirming his desire to stay with the Rossoneri, but Lowe believes this was just a tactic to buy himself some breathing space.

"Nothing's really changed, what's changed is that we're now aware that Kaka was maybe trying to get himself peace," Lowe remarked.

"He didn't really care what he said, he just wanted to get people off his back.

"There was a very interesting comment from Jorge Valdano, the new director general of Real Madrid, saying 'at this time of year, you have to be very, very carfeul what people say. Don't believe what people tell you, and by that I include myself as well'."

Lowe also stated that the chances that Chelsea may steal in and take Kaka to Stamford Bridge are very slim.

"I think that's very unlikely," Lowe stated.

"My understanding is that not only are Real Madrid very confident the deal is almost done, but also privately that Chelsea have pretty much thrown in the towel.

"They believe that it's too late, they believe that Kaka wants to join Real Madrid not Chelsea, and they believe they won't get him."

One thing I will say that is sort of off topic is that I am still surprised that in this day and age with the money clubs got that the transfer record still stood for like 8 years though I guess Kaka will be the new standard

      Chelsea Launch Kaka Bid
Chelsea have made an astonishing £73.5million bid for AC Milan superstar Kaka, according to Sky Sports News sources.

The brilliant Brazilian, widely regarded as one of the finest players on the planet, was targeted by Manchester City in the winter transfer window but elected to remain with the Serie A giants.

Kaka went on record as recently as Tuesday to insist that he was happy with the Rossoneri and had no plans to move on this summer.

But further speculation emerged that Real Madrid were planning a swoop following Florentino Perez's appointment as president, with the returning supremo eager to make another 'Galactico' signing.

And Sky Sports News sources now understand that Chelsea have tabled a bid which trumps the reported offer of £56million from Santiago Bernabeu.

Former AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti was installed as the new Blues manager on Monday and he could now be set to link up again with the talented playmaker.

Chelsea's £73.5million bid is reported to be backed up by an offer of £10million-a-year in wages after tax for Kaka in a bid to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea wont get him regardless of how much they offer. The main fact for this being that they already had Kaka once. Before Kaka went to Milan he had a medical at Chelsea and agreed to join them but then he found out that they were planning to loan him out to some russian team so he rejected them and went to Milan. Also Madrid can offer much more than Chelsea because they can make a large chunk of that money back in pre-season by going to Japan or China as well as the shirt sales and promotions would be massive.

But to be honest i dont think he will leave Milan, it's his club like Liverpool is Gerrard's.

If Kaka will leave Milan than I think that he would move to Chelsea. But if he would go to Real I don't think that he would fit in there. I think :P

Chelsea have categorically denied making an audacious £73.5million offer for AC Milan playmaker Kaka.

Sky Sports News sources understand that the world record bid has been tabled in an attempt to bring the gifted Brazil international to Stamford Bridge.

The package is reported to include wages of £10million a year after tax, even more than Manchester City were prepared to offer during their failed swoop during the winter transfer window.

Carlo Ancelotti's appointment as Chelsea manager on Monday has only served to heighten suggestions that he could be prepared to raid his former club as aims to bring the UEFA Champions League trophy to the club.

But the Blues have moved to quash the fervent speculation that they were prepared to break the bank to ensure one of the finest players on the planet could be on his way to West London in the coming days.

      Totally untrue

A statement on the club's official website read: "We have never made an offer to AC Milan for Kaka and therefore not one at this extraordinary level.

"As a consequence we have not discussed a salary with the player wither. Any reports to the contrary are totally untrue."

Kaka's future has been thrown into doubt despite continued claims from the player that he is happy with the Rossoneri and is not looking to move on.

Real Madrid were reported to have tabled a £56million bid for the gifted playmaker following Florentino Perez's return as president at Santiago Bernabeu.

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has now admitted that he will hold talks with Kaka, who is currently on international duty, over his future at the start of next week.

"I will talk with Kaka next Monday and on Monday I will be able to reveal the decision," he told Italian TV.

"It is early to think about what happens next."

And here was me thinking Real's bid was ridiculous, this one has left me a bit speechless.

I guess the credit crunch hasn't hit that hard then. ::)

I feel bad for the player, he's only ever wanted to play for AC Milan, he didn't ask for all this. Imagine if they were all bidding £70 million for Gerrard, I'd be outraged.

AC Milan general manager Adriano Galliani insists Real Madrid are the only side in the running for Kaka.

The Brazilian playmaker has become the subject of much transfer talk of late, with Real and Chelsea linked with record-breaking approaches.

The Spanish outfit are believed to have made the first move, with an agreement already reported to be in place.

Milan have denied that a deal is that clear-cut, but appear resigned to losing their star turn.

Galliani admits the Rossoneri may be forced into a sale for economical reasons, but insists an agreement will only be reached with Real - not Chelsea.

"Ricky didn't want to go to Man City (in January), instead he wanted to go to Madrid," Galliani told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"An agreement with Chelsea could not exist. Kaka goes to Real or he remains at Milan. That is his will and we are doing everything in complete agreement."

He added: "Negotiations (with Real) do exist, but an agreement is not done.
      Motivation

"Kaka has behaved very professionally with us, he has never asked for his deal to be revised or his contract extended.

"He has been here six years and won everything there is to win. But we can't afford to miss out on 70million euros (£60.8m). The motivation behind Kaka's sale would be economical."

Milan supporters will be disappointed to hear of their club's willingness to sell Kaka, but Galliani has assured disgruntled fans that reinforcements will be brought in over the summer.

"I want to put them at ease. We are not reshaping," he said.

"It will not be that we sell Kaka and don't sign anybody. Should Kaka leave, we will bring in a big striker.

"There is a negotiation for Kaka, but none of our other key men are for sale. That includes (Alexandre) Pato, (Andrea) Pirlo and (Clarence) Seedorf."

While admitting that Milan could be in the market for a new frontman in the not too distant future, Galliani has ruled out the possibility of Arsenal's Togolese star Emmanuel Adebayor or Juventus' Brazilian hit-man Amauri arriving at Giuseppe Meazza.
