Had Erdinger for the first time in ages the other week. Forgotten how tasty it was. Possibly the only beer, other than Guinness, that I would drink. Heavy enough so only for the start of the might before heading onto the whiskey or spiced captain morgans. Try one with a fanta orange. Its like an alcoholic super split. :)

I've been working it out on the shelf at my work and I hadn't ever seen it before.

Is it worth getting a few bottles after my shift tonight?

Absolutely! Their pale ale is their most widely recognized beer, but when the Xmas season rolls around they put out their Celebration Ale. That to me is their finest product and I always stock up for the winter as it is a limited time only offering.

At present I'm from Bristol, UK.  Just always keep an eye out for new & interesting beers.  Had a Samuel Adams last night as well, not that impressed.

Not much to be impressed about. They are more about quantity then quality these days. It was a much better product 15 years ago.

      Calrton Ice Cold.

Cost is dirt cheap and the taste is just brilliant.

Corona's are awesome, too. Never had Guiness though. I think i need to after the reviews on here.

In fact, i've never had a foreign beer. Odd, because i love beer :D

Id be careful with the Guinness Crouchy. Make sure you get it in a pub that is known for good Guinness. A bad pint will put you off for years. A good creamy pint and you will be on them all night. . . With whiskey chasers ;)

I suppose suggesting you go to Achill head in Ireland for a great pint might be stretching it. Local Irish Pub it is so. As long as they have nice little barmaids to ' talk to ' when your drunk

When i head to England i'll definitely be going Ireland too so i suppose that's the first spot i'll be headed to.

Ours are pretty crap. You only get the local stuff and that's it.

Although i anyone ever sees some Bluetongue beer, please get it! It's heavenly. It has a sort of sweet taste but it's so subtle and it's delicious. It's brewed about 2 hours from my joint and it's just awesome.

I had a Guiness once in Oz. Hated it.

Tried one again at the brewery right there in Dublin. Been drinking it ever since.

There are good places in Oz that do them though, just need to find a pub that knows what they are doing.

Funny you should say that, KS67. I just picked up a new one from them: Autumn Brown Ale. I'll let ye know how it is later.

For good measure I also just picked up a six of Smuttynose's Pumpkin Ale. That one I know I love. ;)

I like this lager, ASDA used to sell it a few years back, and then stopped for some reason.
