The weekend thread...

About time this thread had an airing 

Off to Liverpool tomorrow, first match of the season, can't wait, going with my Cousin, Redkenny and JD, staying at Smiggs tomorrow night, having a few bevvy's as well.

Then on Sunday off up to Formby near Southport to stay with my Auntie and Uncle and my Cousin who's over from Jamaica for a couple of days.

Off to game today probably call in and see some of the gang in the Sandon then the Arkles,covering my mate tonight Dj-ing in the club so just a few after the game next 2 weekends in the club so gotta' be on my toe's.

They've given us time off for bad behavior  , so naturally I'll be off today.

Just about to leave for a weekend at a lake in Northern California, boating and relaxation. Lovely! Been pretty absent from the boards lately as ive been so busy, miss all ya'll!

Not up to much this weekend, sorting stuff out tomorrow for car boot sale bank holiday weekend, and visiting the new Liverpool museum on Sunday 

Having been away for the last two weekends, I'm having a quiet one this weekend  Watching the match tomorrow and generally having a chill out.

Thing is, he's a manc, and I always make him drink from an LFC pint glass "because they are the only ones I have" *cough*

Funny as F**k - he's gagging for a pint but every time he goes to take a drink LFC stares him in the face lmao

To be fair, he's not a hater, and appreciates LFC and all we have achieved.

He even loves Lucas, and loves Dirk even more.

We can have a good conversation about footy - it's when the citeh side of the family become involved that it gets heated.

Perhaps I should explain, the Irish side of my family are all mancs, the Murhpy's who are english (go figure with that name) are all citeh

I am the black sheep as a Liverpool supporter, born in lancs (ashton under lyne was lancashire when I was born)

When I first started watching footy, in 73/74 I fell in love with Liverpool, and I have never wavered since, despite some of the kickings I got in school for wearing my colours.

Me and my Bro don't do the "hate" thing - but it's still funny watching him pick up his pint, look at the badge and mutter under his breath

That's good that you can talk footy without falling out or it getting too heated, that's the way it should be though isn't it.

He seems more concerned about city atm, and rightly so, really.

He still gets up more for the game with us than any other though.

He see's city like we would see everton if they got a sugar daddy.
