Very good right-back.


I know he is prone to lapses defensively, but he is always in my first XI.


I hope we keep him.

As much as we criticise Glen at times I dont think there is a better right back for any of the systems that Brendan plays.

He'll thrive in the 3 4 3 if we keep it.

As he adds so much offensively, (and I know he's prone to getting caught out of position occasionally),  the opposition are not able to attack us so freely while they have to watch out for him marauding down the right flank. !

I think he gets a lot of stick for his defensive ability but I dont think its as bad as people make out, remember he's a RWB not a CB so what if he's poor in the air, he's good at making tackles and has pace and power and can beat a man.  Apart from Danny Alves not many other Right backs out there that can do it all please name a few that you think LFC can sign.

Let him get back to 100% match fitness before he is being heralded as a saviour to our problems. He has been out for a few weeks so will need time.

Took a knock in first half which he received treatment for, but played on a good bit after it, I thought it was merely a precautionary substitution due to being comfortable in the game.

Nothing said about injuries so far with Glen, had to be precautionary with him coming back from a previous injury an all, fingers crossed.

Yeah Brendan just confirmed it is illness not injury.

Badly missed today, got to admit I have been critical of Glen in the past but after watching Flanaghan, all is forgiven.

Ah come on. Flanagan was harmless today. Not excellent but he did the job. But as you say - we badly missed him and Enrique today. In fact losing those two for this game sent the three points to Arsenal.....bubble wrapped and all.

We miss Glen massively when he is out.

I'm one who did criticise him from time to time but in a Brendan Rodgers side I don't see a better full back than Glen and although Flanno might not have done anything drastically wrong today I feel that is missing the point. He just doens't give us what Glen Johnson gives us, especially in this formation, and was just a steday limited player today instead of the calls act that Johnson is on his best days.

He was outstanding today. Bombed forward all day long.

Thought he had a tremendous match today. Agreed with yacster, kept going forward every time, just want one of those crosses to hit it's target though, but was very happy with him today.
