Suarez wouldn't go to City, he wouldn't go to any other English team. He would only leave Barca to come back to us or Ajax. Bayern could have afforded him but Pep made no attempt to get him there. He's always wanted Barca so he wouldn't leave them for City, would be a backwards step in his career he doesn't need to take.

Judging by the empty blue seats today, I'm not at all surprised !!

Fabregas said the same thing when he was at Barcelona that he would only go to Arsenal.

I'm genuinely baffled by teams that go through stand/stadium expansions when they couldn't fill the original capacity.

Just watched the "highlights" on MOTD2.

All those empty seats.... Small club mentality with a bunch of glory hunting armchair supporters.

I wonder if the Sheik is wondering if he should have looked down the M62?

To be honest, it was probably the stadium issue that took him to City.

      That does not surprise me.

But the prices are shocking. The ones left are £50, dearest are £75. That is the same for STOKE!

I'm genuinely surprised no one in the media brings this up.

Wasn't Real Madrid at home their first ever Champions League game and it didn't even sell out?

Of course it did mate.  Who wouldn't turn down a virtually free, brand new, purpose built stadium in an area with space to expand and bring the whole Club to one place?

Billionaires don't make money by spending it when they don't need to.

Ha ha! Just took a look at their pathetic forum Blue Moon (what a sh*t football anthem that is) and can't find one member who signed up to the forum pre 2008. In fact most of them are 2012 onwards. Soulless glory hunters supporting a Middle Eastern commodity who can't even fill their own stadium on CL quarter final nights. There's just something quite pathetic and sad about them isn't there. They used to be the charm and heart of that city now...well it's probably safe to say there's less substance there than there is in their city rivals. It's incredible for a club in the semis of the Champions League and having won a couple of league titles....and no one gives two shits about whether they exist or not these days.

Not meaning to stick up for them but there will be loads that signed up before 2008, my best mates are big City fans and they've been using the forum since about 2004/2005.

There are obviously a load of glory hunters too though.

Think that's been a question laid at his feet for an awful lot of his career but it does seem to be progressing to the point you half expect him to just take a seat he's going that slow at times.

Gutted they have just taken the lead, Stoke have probably had the better of the chances up until now.
