Sorry, my mistake, 3-0 not 2-0, looked so easy. Bad job on Aurellio though, best wishes and speady recovery son! Just when he was showing some good form, Mascherano top drawer again, Alonso gave the ball away a bit cheaply at times but on the whole another great performance all round, Looking forward to the semi's now, Don't think PSV have enough to pull this around even with a full squad.

Mascherano was good, saw him everywhere. Finnan and Alonso good too. In all, class defense. And still, THREE goals. Hard working team. Liked it alot. Gerrards header showed he always know where to be at the right time, Riises shot was a champions league classic, and Peter Crouch.... I say it again.. I love you deeply.

I thought we were gonna go mad and score five or six there tonight! Brilliant performance - made them look worse than they are. Think CowMan will regret his tactics of trying to hold us in their half and hit us on the break in the first half. We were too good for that. Thought Kuyt could have looked more lively and I'm so gutted for Fabio - massive shame as he was starting to find his feet and push for a regular place. Other than that though, I'm on top of the world!!! Three quality goals (Crouch with another deadly header  ), solid defence and midfield - Mascherano keeps impressing! Wallop!!!!!!!!!! Nearly in the semi's!!!!

Finnan was great....forget Alves! A solid performance and some great individual displays - Gerrard, Finnan (2 great assists!), Mascherano (Rafa's midfield monster!), Crouch (who's heading ability is improving!), Risse (great goal!) and the whole team in general!
Very proud to support the "Yellows" in Europe and roll into work tomorrow beating my chest with pride as all the chavs can't take the piss as they'd like to!  They're still so bitter about 2005 CL semi!! (and I also like to remind them of Risses' goal in the Community Sheild!!)
