I cant help but feel frustrated at the timing of these bloody things. We have waited for the domestic leagues to start for so long and now barely a few weeks into it they will be interrupted, I personally think the timing is shocking and Fifa needs to work around this.

      12/08/09 21:15 Minsk   Belarus - Croatia
      05/09/09 TBA   Argentina - Brazil
      05/09/09 TBA   Chile - Venezuela

      05/09/09 20:00 Copenhagen   Denmark - Portugal
      05/09/09 20:30 Basel   Switzerland - Greece
      05/09/09 20:30 Bratislava   Slovakia - Czech Republic
      05/09/09 21:00 Ramat Gan   Israel - Latvia

The ones I highlighted are where we will have key players involved, Masch, Agger, Skrtel and Yossi I pray no F***ing injuries.

I would have thought early in the season would be ideal, when most clubs will have most players up and running. If it was later in the season it would be worse, when possibly more players are injured, and you have FA cup ties and Champions league ties to find fit players for.
Although its never a good time, I think this timing is about as good as one could expect.
