Thought I'd lost Pauls wedding ring this afternoon but thankfully just found it.

Talk about retracing my steps since he left it with me for safe keeping whilst he was at work, out to the garden twice as I'd brought washing in, checked the washer as I'd put washing in, checked the sink, the fridge, the freezer, the bins.  Unmade and remade the bed, as I'd changed the bedding, checked through all the clean washing I'd put away but all the time kept telling myself I'd put it somewhere safe, that it hadn't fallen off my finger.

Took the dog out for a walk to clear my head as the next place to look was the kitchen bin and sift through a chicken carcus that I'd used to make stock.  Luckily I didn't have to as I found it on the shelf, behind a photo.  Why the F**k did I put it there, when his ring box was on the shelf above, which I'd already checked

These senior moments are getting worse and more frequent  :(

Just back from Arrowe Park Hospital.

Linz gave birth at 23.05 to my second son. Unbelievably proud of her. Just gas and air.

      8.4lbs but no name yet.

Chuffed tonight to say the least. Bevvy or two then bed.

Ah and by the way - I'm pretty happy I've finally set the date for my wedding party: September 3rd, 2016. Still a long way to go but I'm pleased with the location we've chosen:
