Not having one is bad enough, but when both are out at the same time I start to think the forces of the Universe are against us.

Can't say I'm very confident, but we are good enough to beat them anyway, so come on Liverpool!

It's games like these that screw our season up. With Gerrard and Torres out we might just sturggle to get a result here. At the start of the season we all knew that it was vital to keep G&T fit every premiership game. If we don't win tomorrow I think it proves we lack in depth to win the league.

Can't say I'm overly confident in our side tomorrow, but we shouldn't need Stevie & Nando to get the job done. This is massive, if we lose tomorrow, it's very nearly over. I don't care how early in the season it is, we can't continuously F**k up at this stage and use that excuse to ease our worries. Real test of our title crudentials and their existence tomorrow.

Don't forget, doom mongers, that we've been without Gerrard and Torres at the same time before, and we didn't do too badly. Especially against a certain set of mancs.

First off, Kyrgiakos is only a couple weeks or so now. Second point, yeah it is bad but the positive is that with all those in a week's time they should be all capable of taking some part in competitive football, whether off the bench or otherwise. There is alot worse injuries that could be had, so im gonna keep positive.

The midfield battle is key in this game... we need to stop them playing through our midfield which will be key tmrw.. As they showed againsts United, they will be very good when going forward... I can see us playing our usual 4-2-3-1

Noticed people have been putting Kuyt up front in their selections. I reckon have Kuyt play in his usual role with Babel where Torres would be. Could be a good chance to see if Babel is changing his ways on the pitch and has what it takes to replace Torres when needed.

Obvious choice straight away regarding the Gerrard role is put Yossi there, he plays a big role for us now when on the pitch but now he will be more important.

Yeah, but Zenden was out of contract at the end of last season with Marseille and opted to leave, and i guess he just hadn't been picked up until now. So he was able to just sign up basically.

everyone has to step up there game as we are missing our best,lose this and we will be halfway down the table. but babel might have jet lag flying back from australiia.

Went for Aurelio over Insua because I think his experience will be key without Stevie for Nando. I was 50/50 on whether to go for Babel or Ngog but in the end went for Babel as he gives us the option of swapping with Kuyt now and again. Our bench is going to look mighty thin tomorrow.
