I love being involved in fantasy football, I run on at work(don't ask my position!) & do the Times one every year. Am just wondering would you guys & girls of this here forum be interested in a fantasy football league between us for next season?

Well this is the thing. I have run one at work where we all started a team via a newspaper & then made our league from there.

If everyone is happy with a newspaper one then we would have an offical league & chance to win prizes too. I have been doing the Times FF for about 7 years & am happy with that.

If we wanted to have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd prize then maybe a trophy for each or medal but it all depends on how many of us get involved etc & this can be discussed in this thread before next season.

There seems to be an interest here so far so it's looking a healthy idea...thanks for the responce guys!

I'm still obsessed with 'Football Manager 2005'! Absolutely addicted...but never chose Liverpool as my starting off team as I feel I not worthy and have to deserve it by doing well elsewhere and being offered the job....ok...I need to meet some more people....

one problem mate, i'm from the states, so i wouldn't be able to get the newspaper. i've never done one before, so you'd have to give me a step by step guide. if it sounds like too much work, don't worry about it.

Would probably be easier to do one of the online games. You can create your own mini league on there too, so the website would take care of the administrative side for us too. I played one last season which was free to join but still included prize money, I'll see if I can find out which one it was.

the metro league is for united kingdom residents only batman but im sure I can give u a uk address to use no problem there if it works of course

I'm currently doin one online in which a few people on here are also in it, were doing the one on http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ which might be a good base as you can set up your own mini league......

wouldnt be sure how you would go on about doing the prizes tho???

Hi Guy's, Did one myself a couple of years ago, lost interest as I wasn't up against anyone.  I would love to be involved and a bit of "friendly" banter during the season would keep everyone's interest.  Count me in.
