If i was clever enough i would have put in a Lord Kitchener poster that reads "your fans need you " ,sadly i'm not but one thing i have got is a burning desire to see our team get their arse in gear and go for it ! straight from the whistle give them hell ! it's not as if the Mancs have been playing well either ,they are so spawny it's untrue whereas we , at the moment have nothing going for us ,Carra for the captain's job on sunday for me , if this game doesn't bring the passion back for our lads then nowt will ...go on red men make my day !!

I shall be gracing Anfield with my presence on Sunday, so I expect the lads will be well up for it after just finding out on this thread.

I'd be happy with scoring in the first minute and defending the rest of the game as long as we win.

      We will.

1-0, 3-2 or 7-0. I don't give a sh*t how many we win by just so long as we win.

This could be the turning point of our season, win this game and will give the whole team a confidence boost and could really spur them on.

I don't care what's the score but I want a damn win. I don't care what happens to Owen.

Just turn up, play for the club and be proud of the family crest on your shirt and get 3 points.

      Is it Sunday yet?  ;D

We really need this win to get us back on track. I still believe the title could be ours this year but I feel it almost rests entirely on picking up these 3 pts against Utd.

Good to see Torres has been declared fit to start on sunday, and it's only friday.  And Johnson has resumed full training.

That's two of our key players back in the side, fingers crossed for Stevie to be on the bench.  I also have a sneaky feeling that Rafa may risk Aquilani on the bench as well...

I'm reverting to a 4-4-2 formation with Dirk pushing back in to the strikers role, with Benayoun & Babel either side.  I'm also taking out Insua for this match for Aurelio, who played on Wednesday.

      Reina

      Johnson
      Agger
      Carragher
      Aurelio

      Benayoun
      Mascherano
      Lucas
      Babel

      Torres
      Kuyt

This is the result we're really counting on, so no F***ing about Red men.  Heads down, get the win, back up the table we slowly rise...

Going into a game without Johnson, Gerrard and Torres would be a HUGE blow - but that said - we're behind the boys all the way - ManU are not looking that good either.

The guys will just have to be strong in the middle and fight for every ball like it's their last breath. I hope the ref will be decent.

If Torres doesnt start I would rather Babel up front than Ngog. Play Kuyt up there with him and give them something to think about.

Please God what a choice lets pray Torres is fit and whilst on my knees I think I'll ask for Stevie as welll. If we have a fully fit team I think we will actually overpower them as there must be some built up frustration and it would be great if UTD KOPPED it.

SSN said Nando looks like he could play, so it's left to whether Gerrard is in, hopefully we get a full squad out. :D

We need a win here even more than we needed one in Athens.

That's how important this fixture is - now even more so due to previous results.

This defines our season. If we don't win, our confidence falls flat on its face. Again.

I'm just really nervous whether a full squad will be there ....I know we beat them without Torres and Gerrard but seeing our current run of form ...we really need them to be fit for this game !

But I know we can come out of this game with a good result ! Come on you reds !

We will have to play a hell of a lot better than we have been playing lately, but I'm confidant that we can do it. I'm going for 2-1, so come on you Reds.
