United or Milan?

So who do we want to face now that we have sorted out the Chavscum.

A potential thriller with United or a return against AC Milan...

I actually would feel more confident against United, but would probably get through about 7 pairs of underpants.

I don't think it matters, both will be difficult. Loosing to Man Ure in the final is all our worst nightmares realized. where as beating them in the final is our sweetest dreams come true. Milan aren't the push overs that Man ure think they are and they will want revenge for the miracle of Istanbul. So either way hold tight and stock up on yer undies this is going to be another epic!

I agree actually CH.  It will be difficult either way.  AC Milan will want revenge.  Gary Neville and his mates will want it even more. 

At least both of them will be fired up tomorrow night to meet us in Athens.  Let's hope they kick seven shades of sh*te out of each other.  I'd take either of them on. 

I guess the worst case scenario would be losing to Man United in a final.  But I am sure their fans would be shitting losing to us just as much.

I'd really like the chance to beat them with the squad we have now, compared to the one we had two years ago. And to write another epic page in our history books - beat Chelsea, then Milan - it would be ironic. Also, just to keep a European feel to it.
But if it's written that we meet United in the final, so be it. I'd hate the nerves either way and you have to beat anyone in the final, IF YOU'RE IN THE FINAL!!!!!!!! COME ON!!!!!!!!

Its Milan in the final for me too, I think history does repeat itself and I'm fully expecting Milan to win, I think Man Ure will have to score twice in Milan and I dont know if they have it in them. They might of been the best team in the League this year but were not talking about playing at Ewood Park are we! I think a final against United would be a lottery and would just come down to who had the biggest balls on the night, but I think after 2 or 3 scares!!!!!! we would beat Milan

Dont particularly care who we get, but can seriously see AC tonking the Mancs tonight with Gatusso back in contention and Kaka on form, they fell apart when Gatusso went off last week.   

The ultimate final would be utd but if we lost id be suicdal so im hoping for Milan they are getting on a bit and have a dodgy keeper.

If I had to pick though I'd say Milan for two reasons. Firstly I think the crowd trouble could be horrific if we play Manure unless it's switched to England. Secondly it would prove that 2005 wasn't a fluke.

I would like Milan aswell for the same reason as the first one eddie c gave.  If it's the mancs then i think that trouble is inevitable with sorts of numbers out there.  You know what UEFA are like, what better excuse to hammer English clubs than if their showpiece event is overshadowed by violence.   

Im rooting Milan all the way.  I mean really their defense is just, but without many strikers it'll be hard for them to compete.  To keep kaka quiet you need one defense on him all the time and we have a good enough defense that he can't work his magic.  Dont give him any room to work.
The thing about United is they have so many good offensive players that you can't do that.
That means your midfielders do more work, and when your midfield is broken down you have no hope.
And united also has shown that they can score at will.

  Hey come on we had a good game last night, on the edge of me seat, the goal was like prodding a stick in a wasps nest, but what the hell it made the game. I hate penalties, got no nails left !!

Many good points, I would also like to show the italian scumbags that 05 was no lucky one-time-experience. And I think our chances for beating Milan are bigger. But still... Im stuck in this principle. Milan should not be in this competition. Cheaters. So.. as little as I like saying it, Id rather have a fair final against United, than one with the phony italians.
And think about it, how sweet wouldnt the victory be.. as many of you say: lifting the Cup of Cups infront of the Mancs!! Id laugh the rest of my life. But for now, Im just gonna enjoy the next couple of weeks, before the nerves kicks in the last exciting days.
