I notice that members and season ticket holders have to decide if they want tickets, just before kick off against Debrecen away. so if Lyon do lose we will have tickets to a meaningless game which will probably feature the entire reserve team!

Say it was our last game in this seasons CL, im still going to support my team so i dont see your point, will really separate the hardcore fans at least

I consider myself a hardcore fan and to be honest i agree with redprint on this one.  Its ridiculous that we have to buy our tickets before the game against Debreceni and it has nothing to do with being a loyal fan or not, the fact a lot of people are going through hard times financially means people may have to pay a lot of money for tickets to a seemingly meanless game. 


I have both Lyon and Debreceni on my fancard but i think im going to wait until the 27th november sale just so i know whether there is any point in buying tickets.

your comments are uncalled for.  I am 38 and have 2 kids and it's nearly christmas and have to make a decision on what i can or can't do with my money.  do I go to a meaningless game or spend it supporting our boys in a fight to finish in the top 4.  i'm going to Birmingham next week when many people aren't!!!  3 points are a lot more important if we are being realistic.  i am hoping against hope that Lyon pull something off against Fiorentina.  I can't afford to go to every game, so have to choose carefully, and the league is my priority. do don't start the hard core bollocks.   it's called financial reality!

Im still going to support my team. If they're out of the Champions League, thats when they need our support most.

Mate that’s not what I was saying and you didn’t refer to finance in your original post! I understand 100% to do with finance, we cant all get t games because of money. If I can get a ticket, I'm definitely going to this. Even if we're out I think it'll be a good game and there will be a pretty decent atmosphere.

  Yeah it was sound mate. The city was ok,not enough bars they were just mainly restuarant type bars at 5 euro a pint. The ground was good. We were locked in at the end and bouncing. The amount of police was just rediculous,3 searches going in and police escort after the game with no Lyon fans around. The best thing was they looked like thunderbirds and we were all singing the theme tune at them and they didn't have a f***in clue what was going on and when we were torres bouncing they all got there batons and shields out. Wankers. All in all in was umberlivable apart from that goal wich put a downer on it. But great trip though.
