As it's remembrance weekend....I thought I'd put this here. When it was being debated in the Commons about stopping professional football, 11 players from Heart of Midlothian signed up..thanks to McCrae...7 first team players lost there lives. They kept the game going.
The Main Stand opened in 1914 and is still present.
Fans & players of Heart of Midlothian, Hibernian, Raith and Falkirk answered his call.
