Just a thought to all and the club.....
Most of us are aware that a number of clubs are keeping season tickets prices frozen or reduced next year. What chance Liverpool keeping prices static??
Two factors spring to mind;
1. The new money from our new owners
AND the new TV money coming next season (ie The club could afford to do it!)
2. Another champions league final in an outpost of europe which is going to cost us all a lot of money to get over too and then get back, take time off work etc...(ie we could do without an increase in season ticket prices after shelling out all the money to get to Athens)
If the season ticket price does increase then you have to ask your self this;
Rick Parry has said that having a season ticket does not give you greater priority than a normal 'fan card' holder when it comes to the ballott for the Champions League final tickets (even though you will have been to 6 home CL games and stumped up the money for your season ticket last year). Does that sound fair to you??
Just a thought....if we are really the '12th' man then the club should recognise this and REWARD us whilst they have the money to do so. Otherwise all the '12th' man stuff can be taken with a pinch of salt.........
