We can learn from kopites
Arsenal's Russian star Andrey Arshavin has claimed that Liverpool fans are unrivalled in the English game, and stated that the supporters who decorate Ashburton Grove on match-day could "learn" from those who stand on the Kop.
"Our fans need to learn from the English football supporters, and in particular from Liverpool fans," Arshavin is reported to have said by Liverpool's official website.
Furthermore, Arshavin, who was bought from Zenit St Petersburg in January for a £16.5 million fee, told the press how Chelsea recruit Yuri Zhirkov was overcome when he played at Manchester United's ground Old Trafford for previous club CSKA Moscow.
"It's only because he hasn't played against Liverpool yet," said the diminutive Gunner.
Arshavin himself has fond memories of Anfield. During his first game there as an Arsenal player, he struck four times in a 4-4 Premier League classic last season.
