Saints certainly finished that game the best. And they looked a lot more focused after the finish as well. Collingwood had the run of the play for huge parts of that, so the fact they let it slip could play on their minds a bit.

Gonna need to stock up on beers, again! Got GRand final 2.0 next friday night for me, then another Ducks game on Saturday where i will be well and truly pissed. Big weekend!

What a game, can't believe Juddie didn't win the Norm Smith Medal  ;D

Seriously the way that game was going if there was another 2 mins, St Kilda would have got up. Can't believe we have to do it all over again.

Sort it out AFL, you greedy bas**rds.

Collingwood won the flag in a canter..........but St Kilda seemed to lose it in the second quarter when they kicked 1.8.

i fear the window may well be closed for the saints now to win a trophy with this group.  Hayes-Riewolt-Goddard-Milne-Montagna-Fisher-Gilbert-Gram

Hope you're feeling better Baz, I know you've been sick for a couple of days. That performance and result isn't gonna make you feel any better, is it?

Gutted for you and the rest of us non Collingwood supporters who are gonna have to put up with their bullshit for the next 12 months at least.

Must say Luke Ball handled himself very well, both at the final siren and when he went up to collect his Premiership medallion.

On a final note, Collingwood are still a bunch of cu*ts but they were the best team of the year. Spewing the Saints didn't finish the job last week when they had the chance.

Mate is that squad physical or more based on speed? Our original plans looked like we were bringing in the big boys but a player came out this week saying he hopes to make the team as they are picking speedy, more skillful lads then big fellas

FFS, no Port players in there. F**k that, Pearce was immense last series he should have been in.

      I am biased though ;D

      Bump.

Season is coming up quick! Bloody doesn't seem all that long ago we were bitching about grand final replays, but here we are again :D

What are peoples thoughts on the season? I'm hopeful for my Power hopefully making the finals, new coach at the start for the first time since i was 11 years old so big changes. I loved Primus as a player and he seems to have great support from the club in his coaching role so i really hope he does some great things.

AussieRed, how do you reckon those Blues will go? Dmasta and your dogs? Anyone else? :D

Oh, and the whole Fev thing as well.. now there's a great subject to discuss in the Alcoholism thread!

I think we (Port) will play in finals too as long as we get a bit more luck with keeping players fit.

Another Port fan? Brilliant! Where are you from mate?

Yeah thats it, injuries and squad depth always play a key role. We were so lucky in our premiership year to have plenty in reserve, this year we really need to keep as healthy as possible i feel.

I'm from Adelaide, my grandparents moved to Alberton when they came to this country in the 50's and my old man was born Port.

We've got a good attitude and mentality and a lot of promising kids looking to take spots. I think our depth is good too, the likes of Davenport, Logan, Thomas etc flirting on being best 22 depending on how these kids develop. Think it is Pearce's year to open up.

Nice! Fantastic to see another South Aussie on board :D

Yeah, the youngsters have got me quite excited. I really think Primus is the right kinda personality to work with them as well, as much as i loved Choco. And agreed on Pearce, would love to see him take that next step to absolute brilliance - ya know he's got it in him. Met him at the Grand one night out on a sunday, seemed a shy fella but nice. Chad Cornes is a douchebag though.
