World Cup Draw:Who Will England Get?

Singapore. Haven't qualified for the Asian Cup by merit except qualifying by being hosts. Let alone the world cup.

Our Spaniards look like they have an easy group too.

Group C is awesome.. I am either going to be pitied or hated this summer. If England beat the US then I get toasted all over the forum, If the US wins, then its either luck or flat out poor English play.

I think the England/ US game can turn out to be a good match...Naturally the odds makers will go towards England, but I think the US can surprise them. The US squad is not the same as previous World Cups, they have a lot of youth and solid players. Some of the US keepers are the best in the world.

Honest opinion, I would bet England, but we all know that upsets happen and England doesn't always seem to show up for the World Cup. SO who knows.

I cant wait for the match, I think a US win against England and an advance out of the group stage can finally give us some credit. Which I think is due and deserved.

Love the way no one considers Algeria to qualify but do remember we did overcome Egypt over a 2 legged tie doubt the USA or Slovenia could off pulled that off.

Neither can I. I have already informed my missus that June/July next year my mind will be on one thing and one thing only, so to not bother with anything else!

Normally, being Yank I would say your nuts. But our last showing in the Cup didn't exactly rock the World. However, I think the Confed cup gave then some much deserved confidence and they played the best game of their lives against the #2 in the World in Brazil. Unfortuneatly its hard to ride that momentum into the World Cup after a year...So, we'll see.

I just hope they make it out of the group stage, win 1-2 in the following stage and get some respect.  No offense but a win against England would be huge and would certainly put them in position to advance. I hope its not a thing where we beat the good teams and lose to the weak ones.

The US have good, young players, with European experience and have progressed.  The Americans coming up now are the ones who were trained during the big upswing to redo the US team program and training. These guys had fantastic youth programs and academies. They had plenty of sponsor money and training.  Now we'll see if it paid off. To bad we have to expose the world to that asshole Landon Donovan..ugghh..What a douchebag!  i cant stand him.

The BBC showed the World Cup draw live everywhere except in the Rep of Ireland.

Instead they (BBC) screened a documentary for Irish fans called 'Out Of Africa'. Apparently it was a special on the life of a Cheetah.   

"Out of Africa". How ironic.    

Could turn out to be a tough first game played at altitude 3,783ft in the Royal Bafokeng Stadium/Rutensburg:Lets hope the lads can acclimatise
