Lionel Messi purely deserved to be the winner but looking at the top 10 listing it should've been like this (based on my opinion)
1. Lionel Messi (simple as)
2. Xavi (Barca heartbeat and their main playmaker)
3. Samuel Eto'o (he's dangerous at Barca last season)
4. Andres Iniesta (Soild partnership with Xavi)
5. Ladyboy (although won the PL, but he flopped at CL final and Portugal didn't have the best of qualifiers)
6. Steven Gerrard (nearly winning us the 19th title)
7. Fernando Torres (due to his injury but still managed to score 17 goals and gave Spain the Euro)
8. Edin Dzeko ( scored goals for fun and won Wolfsborg their Bundesliga title)
9. Wayne Rooney (2nd fiddle to Ladyboy, no great contribution)
10. Didiver Drogba ( pure s**te, not winning anything last season, but a good goalscorer)
Quite puzzled on how Iker Casillas got into the list but not Pepe Reina. I mean on club level Reina totally outclassed him!
