Very Inspiring Documentary - Stuart Mangan
      Dec 10, 2009 09:07:39 pm
Just watched this on BBC3 and wanted others to see it. It's an hour long, but very worth watching. (*Only open to UK viewers though.)

At the age of 24 Stuart Mangan pretty much had it all - he had just completed a masters, got a great job and had a long-term girlfriend. Then in April 2008, while playing rugby, Stuart went into a tackle and broke his neck. His injuries left him paralysed from the head down, only able breathe with the aid of a ventilator and needing 24 hour care. But despite all this Stuart was determined to get on with life, and after eight months in hospital he went home.

This intimate and moving documentary follows Stuart as he leaves hospital and tries to get on with living a very different life.

Cheers lad. Usually bugger all decent on BBC3 but that looks interesting. Shall watch it after.
