Proper nervous watching throughout that match. Should've seen/heard me when it went in.

It was weird actually, the Torres goal seemed to go in slow mo, I actually clasped my hands together almost prayer-like begging for it to hit the back of the net.

I don't watch Casillas or Buffon that much but for me Pepe is the best keeper around.

Super result tonight, it may have only been 1-0, but boy, they gave us a precious three points to take back to Anfield.

Pepe Reina was for me man of the match, he kept us in the game especially with that point blank save, WOW.

A good pleasing all round performance, deffo picked up the last couple of games, hope we can take this into the New Year and really storm up the table.

4th place....nah, I'm looking at at least 3rd at the moment.

Well in lads enjoy the New Year celebrations. It's been a tough few months, but I can see light at the end of a dark tunnel and I think we're over the worst now.

Made up with Nando, great finish at the end, yet even though he wasn't fully fit, he took the piss out of Richard Dunne every time he had the ball. Pepe made some match-winning saves and should of easily been man of the match. Lucas had a good game for us in midfield and I actually thought Ryan Babel looked alright when he came on, in fact if he started games with the attitude he showed tonight, I think fans would get behind him more.

As for that pr**k Andy Burton, he's an absolute slimy gobs***e and I still laugh my head off thinking about the beaut with his 2 or 3 mobile phones on the desk on deadline day trying to tell us he's got loads of inside information.

And I'm convinced now sky (reporters, presenters and commentators) have all it got it in for Rafa, they won't be happy till he's out the door. Some of the sh*te Richard Key's comes out with is unbelievable at times.

Anyway another 3 points and roll on spurs and arl twitchy face!

Anyways, my take on the game.  I swear to God, about 30 seconds before Nando stuck it away i said to my buddy 'we're due a last minute winner' and BANG!!

To be honest, our defending on set pieces is a sham, no one knows what they are doing.  In the 4thy minute ( i think ) Villa had a free kick, and everyone was looking at Carra to see what they had to do....a sham that continued throughout the game.

For what it's worth, i thought Agger had a good game, Pepe is on the verge of turning me from a happily married man to one on the turn, and Nando didn't do a lot apart from get kicked for 90 mins and score the winner!

I love when coaches say, "we should of won because we were the better team".  Well, then you would win.

Obviously, Liverpool were the better team and they won. So, what the F**k is O'Neil talking about?  The "Better" team makes awesome saves and keeps the other team from scoring, then they score and win. Hence, "Better Team"...O'Neil you f***in' pr**k.

OHHH CAMPIONE!!! THE ONE AND ONLY!!!

Unfortunately, I woke up with an infection and swollen cheek, cracked a tooth about a week ago. They showed the match here at 2:45 and my Dental appt was 2:30.   sh*t luck that.  Missed 86 minutes of the match but caught the remaining 90+ and the goal. I watched the rest on replays and ESPN.  

I thought they played good from what I saw and they played tight, good passes, GREAT defense, always at the ball. Took a lot of chances from Villa, really collapsed on D and took away opportunities. I did notice some sloppy passes and ball handling here and there. Not to bad but slight cause for concern, too many giveaways, but We took 3 points in a crucial away match. Thats the Liverpool, I'm used to seeing. Pulling out a win when needed.
