No pissing about, full strength team.
1 - to keep the confidence up.
2 - to give us a half decent chance of actually winning a trophy.
3 - because Reading's home form of late has been a shambles so it should be a decent chance for us to knock some goals in.
4 - Reading should be playing for a new manager at the time so there'll be looking to impress.
5 - Reading have no chance of winning promotion, in fact they're more likely to go down so they may be resting a few of their bigger names in which case if we've got a strong XI we can get the game won and then rest the bigger names.
I love the FA Cup and it's been too long since we had a decent run it, hopefully this year we can have a good stint and actually find ourselves at Wembley. We haven't been there since 96. It'd be a great way to kick off the new year and just keep this momentum up, we lost the momentum we picked up after beating United by going out of the Carling Cup. I don't wanna see that happen again.
Plus we still owe Reading a good stuffing at the Madjeski after the 3-1 defeat we suffered there a few years back.
Come on Redmen, start our year and FA Cup campaign with a big win.
