      2010/11 Liverpool FC Kits
      Jan 03, 2010 04:26:28 pm
Update: 7th April - This Shirt has now been revealed.

Photo quality is VERY poor, and probably doesn't do these shirts justice.

Overall though, I don't think they're that bad (if they ARE real). Thoughts?

Honestly? Something really doesn't look that great about them. Could be wrong, but i mean that red one looks like a training shirt, doesn't look good enough to be a home strip.

Don't reckon they are the real deal.

      Hmm.

On one hand you could say the home kit is following suit of current Adidas shirts (Chelsea etc).

On the other, don't Nike/Adidas usually change their design 'template' every season?

The white one I like. The collar on it is nice.

      Not sure about the others.

The black one looks similar to the design for Argentina's home shirt.

Someone posted this on the official forums:

"Liverpool FC and adidas are set to go back to the 1980s with the launch of the new Liverpool 2010-12 standard chartered brand kits.

The new home kit comes in traditional red with white stripes on the shoulders and also half way down the sleeves. there is also a shadow liverbird design running through the shirt, on the back under the white collar line is the words "liverpool fc" written in Aspen Gold lettering, but its the collar that will bring back the most vivid memories of the 80s, the collar is a white crew neck design similar to the liverpool shirts worn by Kenny Dalglish's all star teams of 1987-1991.

Goalkeeper Pepe Reina also has a new uniform. His shirt is Jade Green with Black sleeves and teamed up with Black shorts and Jade green socks.

Both kits will not be released until May and are set for launch in Liverpool's last home game of the season against Chelsea on May 1st.

There is also two New Away Kits. The Away kit for domestic games will be an almost Orange style shirt (officially described as Sunset Amber) and will be teamed up with Graphite Shorts and Socks.

the new European fixture Away kit is not decided yet although early indications are that it will be either White with Black shorts or Silver Grey and Red.

Both Away strips are not launched until late July early August."

Dreadful.  They look like cheap knock offs. If they are them for next year I will be saving some pennies, and a few people in the Adidas design shop should be looking for new jobs, at primark!

I dont mind the white one, but not a fan of the other two at all, especially not the home one.

Maybe the orange shirt is one final attempt to make babel play better...confuse him into thinking he is playing for Holland!  :D

All three of them are F***ing horrible. Sorry.

The away white with stripes one is horrific (black collar makes it even worse). If Liverpool and adidas think those three kits are going to help them sell more shirts then they really are living in cloud cuckoo land.  It would fairly easy to arrange a boycott of official merchandise if those are the options.

Anyone got the skills to remove the ridiculous watermark and throw the Standard Chartered on them?

Orange? With graphite (grey or black) shorts/socks. That sounds sh*te.

Don't mind the white away shirt in the first post. Very 80's. I like it. That pattern across the home shirt looks a bit sh*te though.

Watermark is going to be near impossible to remove on the red one, but the other two shouldn't be too hard.

I'll give it a shot later.

About the only part I actually don't mind.

Reminds me of the old grey one.

At the moment I'm thinking they're fake due to the sh*t crests.

      I hope so anyway.

If the new shirts are anything like the photos above.. or that description.. i am defo buying myself the current away shirt instead!  and i will happily wear the current season home shirt for a couple more years...

all the above looks and sounds disgusting.

IF adidas release the above (which i don't actually believe at all) LFC would be better off rejecting it completely as Nigeria have recently done.  You can't design the current black away shirt (which is great) and then come up with something cack like the above.

That's what I was thinking, on the last two shirts the badges look really bad.
Don't like the away ones but could handle the home one but it does look more like a training shirt.

Don't like them tbh, but the white away one does look like a nice retro one we've all seen somewhere before.

The more I'm looking at them, the more I think they've sh*t out with the home shirt (dodgy pattern excluded), the black one just looks too plain and the white one is getting even better.

Just give Nando a short back and sides and a muzzy and he could be Ian Rush.

It looks like this seasons Liverpool shirts but dragged through horse sh*t.

I think I'll be wearing my current Liverpool shirt for another two years.

      Black one looks ok.
Not too keen on the others really.

Will be strange to see the kit with Standard Chartered on instead of Carlsberg mind.
