I have a leaked copy sitting in my inbox, but I can't motivate myself to listen. On a related note, a good friend of mine is touring with them as their official photographer.

The Black Keys album "Brothers" is fantastic, I'm in the process of buying their back catalogue now.

I'm starting to change my mind about 'The Suburbs'.

Really liking it now.

Arcade Fire's 'The Suburbs' has really grown on me. Listened to it a lot whilst travelling to Amsterdam.

The Arcade Fire are not exactly my favourite band, but certainly one of the most relevant bands of the recent years. Three amazing albums so far, "The Suburbs" may be the worst of them, but it's still a lot better than almost everything new I listened recently.

The album was leaked onto Youtube 4 days ago!  I've tried to resist because I won't get my copy til Monday, but I failed miserably.  My first impressions were that some of the songs were too long and the whole album was a little underwhelming.  On further listens, I F***ing love it.  Especially When the Wild Wind Blows - that is already a Maiden classic with some beautiful melodies.  The last 5 songs are just epic, and thank F**k El Dorado is the worst song on the album...I feared the worst when it was released a few months ago.  Great album, but it does take a few listens to fully appreciate.  Can't wait to give my copy a proper blast!

Spot on, I couldn't wait for my copy so went to filestube and an RAR file, good enough for the car.

'Keep It Hid'  by Dan Auerbach (vocalist/guitarist with Black Keys). ...A cracking album BTW - blues/rock at it's best. It's been out over a year now and was one of my 'must haves' in the 2009 thread. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I was recently turned onto Red Dons new album 'Fake Meets Failure'. It will easily be in my Top 5 of 2010. If you're into Wipers-esque, downstroke heavy punk, this is for you.

Huyton.....attack and release is just as good if you havent already heard it. More of a slow grower that Brothers but its top

Great album this, listening to it right now.  Gets 10/10 from me for 'When The Wild Wind Blows' alone.  Even 'El Dorado' is growing on me but 'Starblind' is one that I can do without. 30 years of amazing songs and still going strong.  Up the Irons!

Its a great album, you should check some of Bruce's solo stuff too, Tyranny of Souls from 2008 is particularly good.
