Anyone on here ever here this song? course you have

How many take in the lyrics and what they mean??

When you walk through a storm
      Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
      Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

      Walk on through the wind
      Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
      And you'll never walk alone
      You'll never walk alone

When you walk through a storm
      Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark

At the end of the storm
      Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark

      Walk on through the wind
      Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on walk on with hope in your heart
      And you'll never walk alone
      You'll never walk

      You'll never walk
      You'll never walk alone.

Walk on, walk on... with hope.. in your.. heart!!!!
It is not a bad result... Think of it.. They got no away goals, didnt really threaten us... Score one there and that would kill the tie! They very much parked the bus and did really well defensively...

Babel and Pacheco should start in the 2nd leg...

Frustrating but decent enough performance against a very defensive team with no Torres/Johnson/Beny.  Give the lads a break it's v difficult to find space against defensive tactics and some of our players do lack pace, Riera and Aurelio were poor with Acquilani a bit anonymous sadly - maybe we'll get more from him if he plays against City - they attack and thus will leave gaps (hopefully).

Still, result we wanted scored (admittedly only 1 but should have been 3/4 if we'd been more clinical) and clean sheet.  But we do need to capitalise at their place!

Why? He has shown in the bits he has played he has a lot of potential. And the fact he set the goal up like he did shows he has very good awareness and control. A lot of players would have tried going for goal or sent the header to an opposition player or put too much power on it.

I'm not expecting the world from Pacheco. But it's good to see him given a chance. And he made the goal so he has definitely got potential.

Must of made the lad feel ten foot tall hearing that.

His header down to Ngog was a peach. It would of been so easy for a lad playing only his third game for the club to lose his head and make a cock up of it. Instead he played it like a very experienced seasoned professional.

And well done to Ngog putting his head in where other bodies were. He could easily of sh*t himself because he's still inexperienced himself. But it was credit to the lad who has taken so much stick of late.

      Feelin' the love! :D

No one is expecting Pacheco to come in and storm games straight away. I know he is probably gonna have some bad games as well, but we all know his quality and can see he is going to be quite a handy little player even right now, and if he can get some string of games together, it could be like a new signing for the team.

I'm still just loving the feeling of a win. Whether it be a 4-0 over Madrid or a dis-jointed 1-0 over Urine..a, its a win and im just happy that we have put ourselves in a decent position to go through!

Got to say after watching that, I don't think we can play 4-2-3-1 without Torres. We don't have a good enough striker to do it. Still think Gerrard should be playing in the middle of the park alongside Masch against smaller teams.

Impressed with Babel today. Best player by far, showed desire, fight, took people on and crossed it well.

Nice cameo from Pacheco, great awareness for the goal.

Aquilani disappointed badly. Thought he would shine and to be honest he didn't show many more incisive passes than Lucas.

Wouldn't have taken 1-0 at the start but I would have grabbed it with both hands if offered it after 70 minutes. We were utter sh*te until then. Thank Gerrard back in centre mid, Babel and Pacheco for turning things around.

Well that's Pacheco's night ruined isn't it mate. His name gets sung by the Liverpool faithful and he finds out that it was started by RedKenny, what a disappointment that must of been.

He'll certainly get more chances, question is when. If he can involved in another 5-10 games this season then I think he'd of done pretty well for himself.

Thank you Joseph. Now start up the man of the match award. ;)

Where's all the Insua must start and Insua is the best left back at the club posts anyway. Every time the young Argentine had a bad game, the Aurelio bandwagon would come storming through - well tonight proved why I'd rather have Insua every game. Aurelio was a shambles tonight - there was a few others who played as badly though.
