There's probably going to be enough Liverpool players in the first team that they can ditch Hodgson's style of play and adopt BR's.

Came on leaps and bounds this season after a difficult early spell.

Have to say I love him playing through the middle but also allowed to go wide.
I know I am biased but the freedom given to him is very much like barca do with messi.
Not comparing the best player of all time with Raheem but in terms of role, composure, danger and strength I think we have a damn good player on our hands.

I agree, to see him perform like he did today in such a big game. Thought he came of age today, his first half performance was as good as anything this season.

This boy honestly is something else. Andres Sterling. I'm seeing the comparison growing stronger every week. That run in the first half, when he picked it up deep and just weaves through their midfield, was sublime...shame about the finish

My MOTM today.  The composure he showed so early in the game to score his goal was maturity beyond his years.

He's 19 but mentally played like a veteran.

He ran 2nd for MOTM for me, Coutinho I thought was slightly better.

However, what a performance, the sheer quality he has shown this season has given me a huge SHOCK, long it may continue!

That was the type of goal (pure class and composure on the biggest stage) that can propel his career further forward in a hurry!  The amount of confidence he will take from scoring such a world class goal in a potential title decider cannot be expressed in words!  Well done Raheem, you're a world beater in the making

The composure he showed for the goal tonight was brilliant. I would've thrashed at it immediately but Sterling showed incredible maturity and intelligence to keep his cool and shoot at the right time. Another outstanding performance by Sterling. He gets better every single game.

My MOTM. He got us off to a flyer and although he quietend down  in the 2nd half, still thought every time he got the ball, he looked most likely to cause them pain.

This lad could well be in with a shout of young player of the year. I know most would expect Hazard but he has went off the boil lately (also could miss out due to injury) while our Raheem has been peerless.

i think, in raheem, we have a superstar in the making...simple as that. if he keeps improving and keeps working as hard as he is right now, he will be one of the best players in europe (if not the world).

the way he took on the city midfield and ran 5 yards (not the first time he's dont that this season) just summed up his fearlessness and desire, and he's got the skill to go with it.
