Why can people not wait for an official squad announcement at a given time?

The press are acting like a bunch of kids trying to figure out what their christmas present is by feeling through the wrapping paper and shaking it. Thus starting their own rumours.

And then they say its atrocious how they're having to wait so long with all these rumours flying around.

Crazy to think that in 2006 they qualified for the WC for the first time, if you look at their team now. They could be massive in 4 more years. They have the talent, I'm just not sure if they work as a team, they failed miserably at the Africa Cup didn't they?

I, for one, am delighted that Walcott isn't in the England squad. Think he is a good player, not great at the final ball, but England will miss him. I mean, picking Heskey ahead of Bent aswell. Cheerio England!!
