Horrible isn't it. I'm not enjoying this one bit. And we've not even f**king started.

That's the worst part. Its only just beginning.

      Good lads!  ;D

Now we've set a mass burial of nuts by people, in motion, can we get back on topic please?  ;)

It is quite interesting that this has come about when Rafa has been talking about his transfer policy today?

I think this was inevitable to be honest mate, what ever managerial position becomes available, they are going to link Rafa with it considering the uncertainty surrounding the club at the moment, there will be a lot more of this in store before the new season gets underway thats for sure.

No decent manager will touch us unless these two are gone and I don't see that happening just yet.

So Rafa get's contacted because other big clubs are looking for a manager, well, what is surprising there? They can make a proposition and rafa can look into it, i don't think there are any clause for him to not having a look at opportunities. Rafa is a clever man, that might be a signal to our actual to**s I mean owners..

"See what I am proposed??..Ball is in your camp"

Thius is just the beginning of a long negociations..Until something official comes out from the club, I'll do like everyone else..Biting me nails, but certainely not panicking......yet!

Guillem Balague - When was the last time he actually said something that turned out to be true?

      Catalan prat.
(From 2003-2006, Balague was responsible for match reports on the now defunct lachiesa.co.uk, website of Essex Sunday Morning outfit La Chiesa Del Corno................... ........Wow!)Source Wikipedia.

      but..

Why would anything surface if Rafa was untouchable.

He hasn't denied anything yet our Rafa ......has he?

BTW    His agent has gone quiet....or has he? Where did GB get this story from.

Rafa's tactics would suit Inter far more than Madrid.

.....either way lets hope whatever happens is done quickly cos I hate all this bollox speculation.

At least when the world cup starts we wont get so much nonsense about our club in the press

wow that was a great first post- well done!

I agree with you Kelvo- at least this summer we have the world cup to focus on- hence (hopefully) less bullshit about our club!

P.S: Didnt realise my post would cause such a stir!   :P

Still think it's either Madrid or Liverpool for Rafa.

No, not for Real.  I believed Real's first target must be Martin O'Neal.

This holds more weight than the Juventus rumour, it would make more sense at least from Rafa's perspective.

Moratti has cash to splash, they are the reigning Italian champions, potentially European cup winners and have a very decent squad which would remain largely untouched should Moureen F**k off to Madrid.

Just after the Juve rumours die down, this now pops up.

I hate the owners, the press and the F***ing off season. Dealing with the whole Alonso saga last summer added about 7 shades of grey hair to my head now this whole Rafa, Masch, Torres and Gerrard crap will leave me as white as a lamb.

I'm a Liverpool fan and at this moment in time I would rather manage Inter Milan.

I'm certain he will be managing a CL side next year

Amazing, the press is convinced that Benitez is the worst manager since Mike Bassett and yet somehow a lot of top teams are interested in securing his services.  It's pretty obvious what's happening here to a neutral and rational person.

It amazes me that RAFA is wanted by so many top European clubs if he is as bad as the anti RAFA brigade make him out to be.There would not be many managers who have been wanted by so many top clubs.

Can't believe Juve, Madrid, Inter and Milan aren't scrambling round trying to get Martin O'Neill, Roy Hodgson and all the other World Class managers that so many on here have suggested.

Should this not be locked now Rafa has basically committed himself to the club by stating we can still attract quality, that to me suggests he scouring the market with intentions of going no where.

Inter Milan have denied reports they have approached Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez about the possibility of replacing Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has been linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, should the Spanish club part company with Manuel Pellegrini, and will make a decision on his future after Saturday's Champions League final against Bayern Munich.

When asked about Benitez, Inter sporting director Marco Branca said to Sky Italia: "We absolutely have had no contact with Benitez. Our coach is Jose Mourinho."

What are the odds on Mourinho winning on Sat night, then on the Sunday being installed as new Madrid manager ?
