England were pretty poor tonight to be honest.

      Green - few good saves
Hart - few good saves, did well in second..
Johnson - quality goal, good finish
Carragher - didn't really have much to do, mutual
      Ferdinand - Terrible captain
King - good goal and that was it
Baines - shouldn't go to the world cup, terrible weakness
      Theo - terrible all game
Carrick - weak to be honest, don't rate him
Milner - few good balls, good vision, quite in places
Gerrard - did well in places, went missing a lot
Johnson A. - can't comment really as he had 6 minutes to play, but he had a good chance was being pulled back by the defender.
Defoe - missing parts of the game, never did welll or contributed.
Rooney - was he even playing?
Crouch - good goal, threat in the air about it..

      Referee was terrible tonight

Mexico came strong and England need to sort there team out although they were missing key players like Terry, J.cole, A.cole, Lampard...

Pretty poor, dominated in possession, yet score three goals against a very good Mexico side - WITH key players missing.

      What does that tell you?

      ^

We had 41% in the first half, we were overall poor first half, and when Glen scored we sat back and let them come at us, well they took on L.Baines all the time.

We scored our first goal luckily, Second was meh and third was awesome why? It was a LFC player ;)

I was just giving my spin on the players mate

I understand - but if we did that well with key players missing, and without possession, think what we could do with all our key players in and us dominating possession.

Res, what do you think of Walcott, King and Huddlestone making the 23 men squad?

@Adryan.... neither of them will make it nor Leighton Baines, Id also put a doubt on Carrick but he will go...

      @Resilvo....
True if we had a solid team it would of been more interesting, its a shame that isn't mexico's strongest team either. They have played 5 games in a warm up and are set to play another 5 apparently.

Walcott, no. He's exactly the same as Lennon, just not as skillful.

King, yes. Him and Carragher would be very good center-back cover.

Huddlestone, yes. Drop Carrick, get Huddlestone shining in the middle of that field.

That Mexico have got even less chance of winning the World Cup?

Like I said earlier though - England despite not looking brilliant did seem to have the goals in them.  But certainly Crouch's height was key for both the first two goals.

There will be some bigger defenders in the World Cup.

But that said - a solid start from Capello's men.

Good to see one of our players score a peach of a goal in the game.

      Good win.

Walcott simply cannot be a first team starter. Lennon any day over him.

Crouch any day over Heskey too. It's weird how some players step it up a further notch in an International shirt - can't argue with Crouch's record.

OK Capello why the daft system in the 1st half - Milner is about as much a holding midfielder as Heskey is the new Messi - it doesnt work so dont try it again please.

Capello - well done for changing the system at half time and reverting to Gerrard in the middle and Milner on the left - a sign of a good manager in realising that the system wasnt working.

Just the 1 big decision now Fab - Gerrard or Lampard in the middle - make the choice.

It's gonna be difficult to drop 7. Definitely 3 keeper are needed, so that leaves 20 outfield players.

                                 Hart

      Johnson     Terry           Ferdinand           Cole

      Lennon     Lampard       Barry(if fit)       Milner?

                             Gerrard

                             Rooney

Wonder how that will work cause Shrek and Stevie seem to have understanding.
