The Scottish FA is asking for an apology from 'the player involved' in the allegations of racism in the Scotland vs Brazil game (Neymar) or from the Brazilian FA. Don't they have anything else to do? Apology, really?
Isn't it enough that the offender was identified? Yeah he wasn't Scottish (it was a German lad, if I'm not mistaken), but why a player who was thrown a banana at should apologize for anything? He didn't even blame the Scots directly, he just complained about racism in the stadium. The Brazilian FA didn't say anything about the incident either.
Instead of trying to take things further in another front - like using this opportunity to debate how to take racism out of the game -, they're more concerned in cleaning their reputation and throwing all the blame at Neymar.
This has been very clear since all the comments from the Scottish FA about the banana were followed by critics to Neymar's sporting behavior. Which is pathetic really, his behavior (diving, complaining etc) has nothing to do with race and racism, they're totally different matters.
