It's part of their football culture. You can't have the World Cup there and then ban these things, even if I do hate them. Let's just hope it doesn't spread out to future World Cups.

I'd agree with this. I don't LIKE the sound of them, but I'll put up with it.

It'd be wrong to try and 'Europeanise' an African World Cup.

bloody hell they are so annoying, it is hard to hear the commentator at times. I thought they has special microphones to minimise the noise from the crowd??

      I hate them!

      I guess it's like marmite.

Seriously though, what happened to singing songs at a game?

Do you want us to replace YNWA with those things?

I think I got used to them.

Really disliked them during the Confederations Cup but haven't been feeling them.

      £16.99

      £20.99 to season ticket holders.

Extra £5 if you're from Liverpool.

Songs are definitely better, but everybody knows that international fans cannot sing to save their lives.

So vuvuzela are the best option. Makes them heard whilst shutting them the hell up ;D

And no, YNWA is definitely best sung.

Used to get a similar thing at The Oval cricket ground until they were banned, have to agree would rather listen to fans chanting their songs etc, how the hell are you meant to hear the refs whistle. The most annoying noise in this country must be the incesant drummer at the Reebok, about as tuneful as a camel taking a dump.

Actually kinda getting used to them now. I don't like the noise, but I'm getting used to it. Just put it to the back of your mind and it's fine.
