The RBS are our big hope here. They can force Hicks to sell. or they can take the club off him!?!

Anything is better than these 2 at the minute !

When RBS indicate they are about to call time on him and hopefully some action is taken in unison by the supporters Hicks will immediately chip the asking price himself because if those two situations did occur he would have no other option but to dig into his own funds.
He would chop his hand off to prevent any likelyhood of it happening.

the 2 c***s are no fools, they don't give a monkey abt the debt or any preassure from fans. so long as they keep scooping interest payments (for loans they made to lfc themselves) and keep creaming of profits, they're happy.

the problem is, fans keep spending money on merchandise and sponsors keep paying good deals for television revenues. as long as this keeps up, they will be in no hurry to sell.

the only ones i can see able to force the yanks' hand is rbs, but then again, why would they force them in a hurry? they're getting huge interest payments and i bet they're confident the club will be sold eventually so they get their money back.

i no longer buy any liverpool merchandise, but of course, there is always one more who does.

Totally agree Ozi mate, Its time to take serious action from the fans point of view, RBS will eventually act but to what detriment of the club, If what the Mirror reports is true then its obvious that even in our darkest of hours H&G still want to bleed the club dry, We as fans and supporters can do our bit by boycotting all forms of merchandising as well as the continued protests, Ultimately we can stay away from Anfield on match days too and if thats what it takes to rid our club of this disease then so be it, We need to get the message out to all fans across the board wherever they are to cease buying shirts, scarfs, Hats and all the other paraphernalia associated with LFC, At least we can all say we contributed in ridding those two greedy kunts of our money/profits, Fcuking £800m, And for what investment? those two really are delusional if they think the club are worth that valuation.

i dont know if i'd hold my breath.. i have an account with RBS and it is £490 overdrawn ( ironically for an old subscription to LFC TV.. i went on holiday and cancelled the direct debit but it never got cancelled so a £5 direct debit is now £490 and they just keep oozing debt onto my life, letters and threats.. all because of a measly £5! out of principle i will go bankrupt rather than pay these cu*ts another penny because of the Liverpool situation.. but be warned they like debts building up!

I can only see this being a long drawn out affair ,all the potential investers are waiting for the greedy cnuts to lower the asking price and as the greedy cnuts are a pair of brain dead stubborn pricks we might still be in this position for a while yet unless RBS put the squeeze on the bas**rds at the present moment thats our only hope .

Write to them stating that you are perfectly prepared to go bankrupt, unless they sort the mess out at LFC then you'll consider making payments :D

haha i should do... what if we all open RBS accounts and get a £500 overdraft, say one million of us and then rather than pay it back we buy Liverpool football club! in effect we will be buying our club without spending a penny after 6 years the £500 debt will be forgotten and we will be the owners.. just an idea  ;D

It is F***ing obvious this deluded clown is playing for time, I can´t believe he hasn´t been physically attacked by a fan yet, F**k me if he ever dares shows his face in Liverpool again he will need the SAS to protect him.

The day this man is dead I¨m going to celebrate like we have won a league. Sorry for being so blunt I´m over in Spain and still can´t get away from the negative media on the club.

Can't see him getting over here again last time he had to have a police escort and disguise himself as Purslow to get out of the ground and he's still in costume.

He will need more than the SAS to protect him, he would need one of them massive inflatable balls you go in and get pushed down hill...then again if he was in that i would kick him onto the Mersey and let him drift out into the sea to die a horrible, rotten death.

Can tell you're in Spain because of how strange your apostrophes are. :D

Agree with you though. I'm still on course for the bouncy castle party when they go, even if it is winter. :D

I'd be on the milk cartons if he snuffed it though. That's how drunk I'd end up.

More to the point of the topic however, I'm not entirely sure of all these mysterious sources coming out saying he's F***ing it up. From what I can gather, business deals like this are better kept under wraps. And it would be better off if all parties kept a lid on it. If all these reports are to be believed, they're ALL F***ing it up.
