Im not going either. I wanted to protest. Vent some anger. Not have a f**king merry celebration.

I was looking forward to this event for so long as well...its been ruined now. Its nothing like was originally planned.

They're certainly doing their best to alienate anyone who was interested in this event in the first place for it's main cause. That's well and truly tipped the scales for me that. It's nothing but a huge advert for their own ideas.

Hugely disappointing that. Hopefully people will still go and try and have their voices heard. I know I am, and I still hope to meet up with a few of you there.

This rally will be brilliant now SOS are in charge! ;)

Let's celebrate.... erm what are we celebrating?

In all seriousness though, celebrate the prospect of independence from them? The whole point of it being on 4th July was a little swipe at the owners. March would have gone down better with no interfering by SOS.

Celebrate the possible independence from the yanks...

      What the F**k????

What next? They'll try and ban anti H&G flags just in case it sends out the "wrong message"

I'm seriously considering not bothering with this now, its gone from being a protest to a family fun day out!!!

Who reckons we all meet up as planned then just F**k off to somewhere else for our own protest. Because this SOS jolly up is pissing too many people off.

I've slated the SOS on my "thanks but no yanks" page on fb due to this.

And people are asking what my gripe with them is etc.

Yeah, surely we can win everything with no manager, and all players playing free roles.. ;)

We should just train our youth-players up so that anyone can play anywhere aside from the 'keeper. Then have them constantly interchanging, from midfield, attack and defence.

I reckon it'd work. Fusion football.

Tried it on FIFA by altering the stats, put everyone's primary options to attack, and it seems to be okay.

      Anyway, I fear we're (I, in other words ;)) getting a tad off-topic here.

Now SOS are telling us about how much alcohol we can consume.  WTF.  Below is what is posted at the SOS website.

We would ask all those attending on the day to observe and be aware of local bye laws concerning litter and the consumption of alcohol. This is our chance to show the watching world and Tom and George that we are coming to oust them, and to show new owners we won't let it happen again - let's make sure that message goes out properly.)
