Benitez has 100% control over who gets sold, right?  With him gone, who makes these decisions?  Given the previous history of our owners what guarantees do we have that we will keep our players or that if any money raised from player sales would be reinvested in the club?  Benitez is our strongest ally in this regard, support him 100% AT LEAST UNTIL THE CLUB IS IN PROPER HANDS (ie. owners who have at least a semblance to Liverpool's best interests at heart), after that is sorted, you can call for Rafa's head all you like.  Listen carefully here:

I can't help but feel desperately sorry for a man who has invested so much time and effort into this club and from what
I've read over the years, the incredible gestures and support he has given to the local community and many many very worthy causes,
he has made us proud and passionate of our club and made us a force again, I will never forget some of the amazing nights and that's even leaving aside Istanbul, he has raised his children in Liverpool and settled happily along with his very well respected wife.

I'm a grown man but all this brings tears to my eyes, then the sadness turns to anger as many other have stated, where will it end?
