Both teams were very poor in the qualifying games to the World Cup, but France has a much more solid team.

Well, I have always assumed there is a strong rivalry between Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.

I believe this will be another draw, shame that France doesn't have a better team morale and good manager cause on paper this is one of the top 5 teams in the world.

Brazil vs Uruguay rivalry is big, although not the same as in the past, mainly cause Uruguay are nowhere near what they used to be 50 years ago (Olympic champions, twice WC winners... MARACANAZZO , etc). They are no longer like Argentina who almost every Brazilian want to lose - I actually know a few guys who want Uruguay to do well -, but I dislike them, even more than usual cause I hate it how some Brazilians from the southern part of the country seem to like them, a few idiots even say they prefer Uruguay than Brazil. But that's only a smaller factor, overall it's just due to the traditional rivalry.

As for the other South American countries (Paraguai and Chile), I'd love to see them doing well, as long as they are not playing against us.

I've got Uruguay in the sweep so i think they'll win 2-1. Just hope France can keep their hands to themselves.

As much as France haven't been playing well recently, I can't see them losing to be honest. I have gone with 2-1 France. I hope Gourcuff is playing because I might throw a cheeky bet on him scoring 1st .

I think the France squad has aged alot from the previous world cup and cannot see much threat from them except Ribery and Henry. I'm gonna go for a shock result for Uruguay but I still think France will win there last two games and still finish top of the group.
