Not a big fan of Salcido. Got torn to bits every time they played us.

Salcido, I always thought he was a good player, had a great game today. He plays for PSV, maybe Dexter could give his opinion too
Not good enough, has been very inconsistent at PSV. Though to be fair, he's been unhappy at PSV. He wants to leave PSV this summer, so I'm sure he's putting in extra effort this tounament to catch attention of clubs.

Did I hear that he'd broken his leg yet again? Just before the World cup started?

I think he left a good impression at the Libertadores when Chivas played vs São Paulo, didnt watch him much recently so I trust your judgment. He was very good today, anyway

Must be a small bone or something because he was running on the side and he was named on the subs bench ???

Ironically, Cisse did miss the 2006 World Cup with a broken leg.

Yeah, he did very well today. But I think that's also because France gave away too much space on his side. Govou did a very bad job at tracking back there. Salcido is already 30 too, I can't see him as a succesful left back for us.

It looks like France have lost the plot. Think affairs with the manager are largely to blame.

Pleased for Mexico. It'd be great if they and Uruguay progressed.

Uruguay and Mexico will play at a canter and draw the game in order for them both to qualify.

South Africa have really slim hopes of qualifying. I think it's almost okay to say they are as good as out.

Then South Africa needs to beat France like 6-0 and hope either Uruguay or Mexico win.

      Which is unlikely.
