I feel sick in the stomach in the build up to this one. After watching England play the first two matches its hard to have any confidence.
Capellos reign has been so positive, until it all seemed to fall apart, starting with John Terry screwing Wayne Bridge's missus.
Then along came the procession of injuries.
Joe Cole- Ashley Cole-Wayne Rooney-Rio Ferdinand-Gareth Barry-david beckham-aaron lennon
Players picked not getting a regular start for their clubs SWP-heskey-crouch
Goalkeeper making a schoolboy error
Complete loss of form by players- Capello playing people who are ill/injured
Now we have a do or die affair against a nation with a population of 2 million people, and you almost feel Slovenia are the favourites.
We have a german referee who is probably just frothing at the mouth for a chance to wave that red card at any England player, and a frustrated Wayne Rooney, who will go out there like a red rag at a bull.
What a combination!
My worst nightmare
England get a goal, and look to defend a 1-0 lead, then with 20 minutes to go we get a player sent off.
With less than 10 minutes to go Slovenia find an equaliser.
In the frantic final minutes we have a stonewall penalty turned down, hit the post, and miss a host of chances.
The English press begin the frenzied attack starting with Wolfgang Stark, then Capello, then the players.
In 6 months time when everything settles down we realise who the real culprit in all this fiasco was.
Wayne bridge's missus.
