      Torres said he will stay

      http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/inter/?action=read&idnotizia=21782

I know some Italian & so he said, "Rafa' sacked? but I'm good at liverpool & the whole world knows this. My future will be decided after the S.Africa to concentrate on the World cup. The new coach, will vary the squad. I repeat, my future is however steady."

This is a good news & I take full responsibility for my translation. If this Italian article comes out to English media I will be a happy person.

If he's said that his future will be decided after South Africa, then it's still seemingly up in the air.

      Positive comments nonetheless though. :)

In other words he will wait and see what happens at LFC and then decide, and we only have muppets incharge at the moment!

He does seem to want to stay, but time will tell...

Torres is world class & if he wants to stay, he will persuade some senior to stay too.

Not really sure how 'I'll decide if I'm staying after the World Cup' is positive news. Unless we are now at a stage where just getting another two weeks out of a player is the best you can hope for.

An ambiguous message. There should be no decision to make after the WC.

Ownership supposed to change ( hopefully ), no manager currently, other teams active on the market, we also active but selling - wonder which player would commit himself to such team.

If rumours are true senior players forced Rafa out , its only right that they stay here and give the next manager a chance

Let's all pray and hope he does stay.

I'm certain though he's waiting to see what the immediate future holds for Liverpool Football Club. Like all of us.

Torres was never gonna leave, but if the owners decide to accept 60-70 million for him. It's a different story.

      just that, rumours.

i would expect nothing less from torres though, the man has class and loyalty and his instinct would be to want to stay.

however, as long the fu**ing vampires are still there, i won't rest easy.

We won't be sure about anything until the transfer window is closed. It's not the first report saying that he will stay, but there are rumors that he's allready off to Barcelona and stuff.

Torres has been linked to various club every transfer window since we got him!
I think people are only listening this year as our season has been so dissapointing.

He has never said he is not happy at Liverpool, or that he will leave when he has no Champions league football-
I must admit i have had my doubts- but will still be holiding my breath until the transfer window is shut!

First of all there is nought in the stream that says if he's staying or going so lets wait and see, I think it will all depend on factors like new owners and a new manager so until Spain's WC is over we won't really no anything.
