The Nike Curse?

Not sure if this one should be under the " Nike Write The Future Advert " thread or have its own. Please merge if anything.

So, I've heard about that "curse" that everyone in the advertisement have failed to perform in the World Cup?

Didier Drogba, Fabio Cannavaro, Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribery and Wayne Rooney didn't have the best of tournaments and are all eliminated.

Landon Donovan and Tim Howard played fairly well and have been eliminated.

Ronaldinho didn't even make the World Cup.

Cesc Fabregas hasn't done alot for Spain. Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique are also in it but nothing seems wrong yet. I know it doesn't necessarily mean Spain will get knocked out but it's just funny how the stuffs are related, don't you think so?

Also, Roger Federer is knocked out of a tennis tournament.

Could it be because Nike is sh*t and adidas pisses all over Nike? (Nike isn't sh*t, but adidas is better).

Read some comments on youtube that Pique, Fabregas and Ineista aren't hit by the curse cause they've got their Adidas shirt protecting them from the curse.
