Go on Roy, get a striker! If Cav leaves, i think Jones will come in.

But i think he's looking for and English striker to play back up. To be honest, i can't think of any Englishmen i want. Llorente from Athletic would be brilliant because he's like Crouchy but a bit more mobile and quicker and can head a ball better.

Haven't we got enough F***ing English men now? Not happy if we receive £25m for Mascherano and we spend just £8m on a back up striker. We need to spend £25m on a top quality striker. Include add ons if we have to! Why has it got to be a player who is happy to sit on the bench? What if Torres gets injured, then we are just left with Crouch - not really a prolific goalscorer is he as we have learnt in the past even though he does score a fair few.

And which top quality striker and we going to put on the bench? More importantly, where's this 25m coming from? And to be honest, i'd rather see someone like Crouch who i have confidence in, rather than Ngog most of the time.

I like NGog but i don't want to rely on just him if Torres is injured.

With Jones in it looks like, we might be able to sign someone regardless of their home grown status. Players like Bellamy and Cassano can play on the flanks (especially the left) as well as up front.

Well i'm hoping that he hasn't shown any intent by signing Poulsen and Brad Jones whilst getting rid of Aquilani so, in answer to the question: We need more than two.

I'd like the likes of Arda and Banega but i won't be holding my hand on my ass waiting for them. More than likely, it'll be Konchesky and A.N. Other hammer thrower . Whoo Hoo.

I can't see the Koncheskey deal coming off, considering Roy Hodgson has a gentlemans agreement in place not to approach any Fulham players during this window.  If Roy does go back & break his word, he'll go down in my estimation.

A big strong striker ie ola or crouch. Going to need another creative midfielder now aqua has gone, bangera would be nice. Still feel we r short at left back Aurelio looks very rusty. Apart from that I dont think are squad is too bad.

Agree but not sure we've got the money!

Midfield - Defour/Banega - to me this has become essential as we've lost Aquilani.
Wing - Ashley Young/Bryan Ruiz (but more likely to get SWP)
Forward - Ola Toivonen is coming.....
Left back - this is the role I think we'll find hardest to fill and part of me thinks we can stick with Agger/Kelly/Aurelio for now and buy somebody in January.  Taye Taiwo would be good.  Dont think Citeh would sell Bridge to us.

Think Jova will do a good job on the left. As for a striker and a midfielder its getting late now. I think the uncertainty of the takeover has held Roy back in that he could have been shopping in Harrods but now he will be shopping in Lidl. He may just decide to work with what he has got for now and look again in January. We will all know in 10 days time.
