Johnson, 23 successful passes, 13 unsuccessful.
11 tackles made.  6 won. 5 lost.  What is his job again?

The only two tackles he made or attempted to make in his own half he won, the rest you have mentioned were in the oppositions half.

Jaysus TDI we agree on something, Where the f**k is the rest of the Kop are getting rid of Hicks and Gillette not worth a couple of extra minutes.

Makes no sense... not like it is a lot to do, just sit on your arse for ten minutes.  do they want the yanks? do they even care? how can people STILL not get it?!?

Credit to those who stayed and lets hope it continues after every game, gathering momentum.

true, aside from the cross he allowed to get in without a tackle - I think that is what upset me the most to be honest, I could not believe it

And this head bandage on his head looked ..mightily, bloody, like on a battlefield.

But how? You don't need to know anything to see what it happening before your eyes - the result was right there in front of them on the pitch! :(

Without Gerrard's driving force we would be nothing - we still rely too heavily on him...
Playing 2 defensive midfielders against a team with one man up front who would be happy with a draw reminds me of why Rafa frustrated me and especially with that useless cu*t Poulsen on the field.
Notice when he came off we scored almost straight away and when he was on he gave away a penalty...
Hodgson got it wrong AGAIN today!!! FFS like we were all talking of maximum points from our next 5 games and we draw with that Beachball club :(
Truly sickened especially with Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal dropping points, at home we should have closed the gap.. 2 points lost!!

I'm just waiting to catch the highlights but it seems from reading on here that it's the same old story from this season with Roy's poor tactics and players performing well below what is expected.

A 2-2 at home to Sunderland is not a good result in my opinion but it is what I expected us to get after watching us all season.

"Im gonna attack them and see how good there back four is!"

That's a quote from Ian Holloway's interview after the game with Blackburn on about when they play us.

      http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/b/blackpool/9033620.stm

      Roy has responded.

Were going to play two defensive midfielders, sit off them and see how good their attack is" ;D

      FFS another sh*t result.

So F***ing disappointed, not only with the result but just the way we are playing. It's all so predictable, all down the centre, no width whatsoever.

At half time they showed our performance going forward, 3% down the left side, 7% down the right side and a staggering 90% down the middle of the pitch.  We have no width at all, oh to have some money to buy some real wingers who can get to the byline and whip in a proper cross.   >:(

For me everyone of those players wearing the red shirt in that game bar Skrtel who I thought had his best game in a long, long time, need to F***ing have a good hard look at themselves.

And Roy, never let that piece of crap Poulsen pull on that strip again. He's completely sh*t and useless, can't believe we have gone from Masch to this bloke, what Roy sees in him is unbelievable.

One other piece of advice Roy, just play N'Gog up top with Nando please, we actually looked like some sort of threat the minute he came on.

I'm getting sick of this sh*t, what the F**k they do in training is beyond me, all of them with smiles on their faces riding F***ing bikes, playing with F***ing bouncy balls, how about getting a F***ing football and start practising how to pass to one another.

It is ridiculous mate! It looks like every time our players take to the pitch that it's the first time they've played together with the poor passing, no movement, poor defending etc.

I am waiting to see the highlights of today's game but I've seen every other game and our football this season is nothing short of atrocious.

      Crazy first goal.

Gerrard should have been sent off.

Poulsen was a tw*t for the penalty.

Pepe unlucky not to save it.

      Lovely second goal for Sunderland.

      Super Gerrard header.

      Agger should have won it.

      That's what MOTD told me.

      Indeed!

I'm guessing from this thread it was dire again (results says a lot too!).

Disappointed that at tough times like these we are still giving teams goals (the pen). Reina could have easily given them another one too.

Just seen MOTD obviously very hard to tell how we played but why did pouslen stick his hand above his head for the penalty? What was Johnsom doing with the marking of Bent? Also Gerrard should have gone for the penalty and noticed how it was Carra who was pleading our cas for the first goal and Stevie was nowhere to be seen.
