Good to see Kuyt back.  Not sure how 'fit' he can be though - didn't even get a cameo mid-week.

Disappointed to see Poulsen in, I know they're much of a muchness but I still rate Lucas over him.

But can't see any reasons we wouldn't get 3 points today.  Pretty much a home banker.

Although interesting to see today's formation - reckon it's going to be another completely new shape.  Cole would be better placed on the wing rather than Gerrard in that team.  Interesting.

I really think we've missed Kuyt recently, but i would probably give Poulson the nod over Lucas, who hasn't impressed me at all this season so far.
As for being a home banker!! Unfortunately, There's no such thing with us at the min. More like a scrappy 1-0 win IMO.

Surely now is the time for 4-1-2-3 Roy. If we do I can see a confidence boosting win. Fast tempo and press hard early on

One win at this point can be the spark this team needs to turn this season around.

Like to see it as a 4-3-1-2

      Reina
      Johnson Carragher Skrtel Konchesky
      Gerrard Poulsen Meireles
      Cole
      Kuyt Torres

And that would be a close to quality team, i thought the 3 of Poulsen, Gerrard & Meireles worked nicely against the Mancs it's just Poulsen needs to get used to the Premiership and speed himself up a bit in his passing to the more creative players

      2-0 Liverpool.

The first eleven better do the business today because I don't fancy anyone on that bench pulling us out of the sh*t.  Would have liked to see Agger and Lucas instead of Skrtel and Poulsen but I guess the latter two are fresher.  Hope Carra and Skrtel are more interested in the ball today then the opponents shirts.

I've changed my prediction from 3-2 to 3-1 to 1-0 so come on redmen!!  A comfortable 1-0 victory will do great. ;)

I seem to remember that's what we were all saying last season.  Didn't happen then and can't see it happening now.
