To be honest, I don't think we value him at £4m, we were just trying to unsettle him IMO.

That might be true but any bid from us is going to unsettle the player and as we know Holloway openly admits that he would allow Adam to leave if we came in for him.

I've never known a manager to want his player to leave then do so much complaining when a club puts an offer in. It's all a bit ridiculous if you ask me.

Blowing smoke up United and Fergusons arse in the pre match on ESPN. Comparing Adam to Scholes now. Obviously wants to wait until the summer and hope some more clubs force up the price

You can't blame him though, all he want is the best for for Blackpool as their manager.

He's hoping more exposure over the season will see him get more. Obviously claiming both United and Liverpool need a passing mid. Which aint wrong

when you are paying a good midfielder 28,000 pw and you know top clubs would pay him 70,000 pw to sit on the bench you are pretty much screwed.

I like Holloway but his comments about Charlie Adams remembering him when he is rich and famous and buying him a cup of tea were cringeworthy.

Blackpool just got fined for fielding a weakened side against Villa on November 10.

Ian Holloway said if they take action, he'd step down as manager or something and they have taken action.

As much as Holloway is winding me up this week with his wingeing I have to agree.

If the Premier League state that each club has to name a squad of 25 before the season then the manager should be free to pick whatever team he wants from that and I've always thought this.

Who are the league officials to tell any manager of a club who his best team is when he is the one working with the players day in day out.

Absolutely ridiculous. If we played youths, we'd get away with it. Double standards.

      Absoloute bollocks.

You're the manager, you should be able to choose whatever team you want. The FA are acting like he sent his players out to lose.

What the F**k is this sh*t? We have fielded half-reserve sides in many cup matches, where wad the fine there?

It is indeed double standards. If you pick a 25 man squad at the start of the season, then you should have full pick of it whenever you want.

Keys is right about 1 comment he made at least, the game's gone mad! weakened side, my arse can the FA provide evidence that Holloway had a full strength squad at the time who deserved to play more than the fielded team?

Exactly how can they say that lads he picked that night were not picked based on there performance in training? Why have they said clubs musth ave a 25 man squad? Why not just say this must be your starting 11 unless injured. Jokers

Blackpool could challenge this as there is no way the league can prove that it was not his strongest side available to him and presuming all players were from the initail 25 squad list then they van have no arguement.

That fine is a massive insult to the Blackpool players who played that day.

It's not like they got horribly beat either! 3-2 and a close game!

Absolutely ridiculous from the FA. They've started to set themselves precedents now and it's just going to get worse. Managers have a right to use whoever they like from their 25 man squad as they see fit, rotation is part of being a manager.
