The saddest thing of all is the way things are going eventually the ordinary working man will be priced out of a once working class game, it doesn’t really matter which club it is, those who are owners their principal aim is profit rather than trophies, they can pontificate all the f***in want about how much they love the fans and all that f***in bollocks, in the cold light of day all they want is the turnstiles clicking over and seasoned ticket sales sold out, deep down they don’t give a shiny sh*te what happens pitch side, David Moores loved the game and loved the City and obviously our club, can’t say the same about FSG though can we, in the modern era, it’s just the way it is, again I will reiterate, they, FSG are not bad owners, you only have to look across the park and be grateful what you wish for,

We’re very lucky in that we have ppl who look after our institution outwith FSG, and we predominantly as a group won’t be fu**ed with, we seen that with the walk out over ticket pricing and of course how we let H&G know what it happens when you F**k with us .

Even back in Shanks period we were privately owned but the way the sport is is massively different to how it was back then - the level of money is huge , it’s a different sport off the field

It’s very hard to remember when any club was anywhere near socialist views

It is thanks to those directors in the late 1950s and 1960s who backed Shanks, (TV Williams Sid Reakes Mcconnell etc ) that this club rose from the depths of the old second division to be the success it is today.I agree with you that things have changed including the way players are paid and how much they are paid, from memory The late great Bob Paisley and all other first team players were paid 20 quid a week 21 quid for a draw and 22 quid for a win.So yes there have been many changes since football resumed in 1946 after the war

Combination of things I suppose, us on a bit of a run, players coming back from injury, the signing Diaz.

Regardless of whether their hands were forced into buying Diaz, the fact is he was signed. And has strengthened starting sides, He looks sharp, hungry and that rubs off. The fans have gotten a lift. That's what good new signings do. He's already made a difference.
So credit to them for that. And for the intent of trying to get Carvahlo from Fulham.

Still a couple of contracts to tie up, but can't complain with the Jan business.

Last time we dropped points was in the first leg of the CC against Arsenal, I believe.

We remembered how to hold leads and did so without replacing Gini in the January window. Strange.

Pretty certain it was. Just out of interest I had a look down Linda's Instagram to try and get an idea of when they last attended a match as I know she posts quite a bit. Looks as though the 2-0 against United in January 2020 was the last time they were at Anfield

They have been trying times over the last few years since H&G fu**ed us over. We all know that we are an investment but FSG have gone about it the right way. Maybe we just needed to be patient. They kept Anfield, they brought in Klopp and backed him to a certain extent. No other manager could have done what Klopp has done. Guardiola couldn't do what Klopp has done, fact.

While i would love us to sign all the best players in the world, in reality it is an unsustainable model. At least this way we stay in the black and Liverpool Football Club remains in a safe condition.

Make no mistake though, without Klopp they would have failed. The best manager in the world, period.

Read that there's plans to parade the league Cup and the prem title we won 2 seasons back on March 6th.

I think its a bad idea.

Can't see that happening. Leave til the end of the season. More like we'll parade the League Cup at the next league game. Either get Bobby and Thiago to parade while their injured or leave it on a table in the centre of the pitch.
