Okay, I'm just gonna try and say this. I have no idea on how to get tickets for a home game and I don't really understand the official site itself.
I notice under 'Latest Ticket News' under the 'Match & Tickets' section, you're given a list of matches you can select which are either 'Sold Out', 'On Sale', 'Match Packages' or 'Awaiting Info'.
And if you click on any of the ones 'On Sale', you see another list of five different rows - Hospitality, Thomas Cook Match Breaks, Priority Rights Holder, Season Ticket Holders and Members/Fancard Holders.
So, basically there are two ways I can purchase a ticket. As an All Red member and as a memberless person from the general sale and I can only try to get the tickets on the specific date onwards that is shown, is that right?
So, if I do have a member card, I'm entitled to an earlier opening day of tickets going on sale. And of course, I need to fulfill certain conditions, e.g. X amount of home/away matches on my card for the future matches?
If I don't have a member card, I don't need to look at any conditions as above but I am only able to get tickets which goes on sale at a later date, lessening my chances of getting a ticket. This basically means the membership is optional?
How many tickets can I purchase as a member and as a non-member?
If someone could help me with this, I'll be really grateful because since I'm studying in UK for another 2 years, it will be disastrous to not go to a match at Anfield. I've been to Anfield, I've seen Liverpool play live in Singapore, just not a live match at Anfield!
Thanks in advance.
