No offence mate but I think that's a daft quote on this thread (I agree but I have posted my thoughts on the relevant threads).
The story regarding Pepe and Nando was put out by a guy who I think, if my memory serves me right, learnt his trade at the 'N**s O* T** W***d' (nuff said) but I find it very comforting that Henry and Hodgson have both made a point of letting everybody know that it is not going to happen and that there will be positive movement within the transfer market come January.
Although I am not a fan of Roy's I can't help but think that no matter what comment he makes now, it may well be made to look stupid whether it is or whether it isn't.
I must say though that Henry's comments are pulling all of the right strings. Of course I can't help thinking 'once bitten twice shy' when it comes to American owners but I have a feeling about this guy. For sure he is going to tell us what we want to hear at these early stages but I do honestly feel that the man wants for the club exactly the same as what us fans want.
