Liverpool have today confirmed that Stephen Darby has joined Notts County on loan until the end of the season.

The Reds defender enjoyed a successful spell with the League One outfit earlier in the campaign and will now return to Meadow Lane until May 31, 2011.

Liverpool today signed 17-year-old Conor Thomas from Coventry City on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move.

The central midfielder, who has represented England U17s, made his full debut for the Championship outfit in this weekend's FA Cup defeat to Birmingham City.

Thomas will be based with the reserves at the Academy.

DONE DEAL: It's a Liverpool signing. The Reds have signed 17-year-old midfielder Conor Thomas from Coventry on loan until the end of the season. He made his Sky Blues debut in Saturday's defeat by Birmingham City.

Ayala hasn't gone to Derby yet, they're saying next month as his injury is still keeping him from playing.
